Friday, October 12, 2012. Baby Doll Surgery and the Zoo. Not a pretty picture. On Monday Mia and I went to the Hogle Zoo with my parents. It's been a long time since I've been there, even longer since my parents have been there, and Mia's never been to the zoo. Mia and Grandpa looking at the elephants. They have a big elephant that blows water out it's trunk. Since summer is over it's not as exciting now but Mia loved it. Mia and I in the Eagle's nest. They had a baby giraffe that was just 2 weeks old.

Sunday, December 15, 2013. 3 Month Catch up.in a nut shell. September brought lots of fun. Especially for Mia. She turned 3! We picked up a couple kites when we were at the store and decided to try them out. We has one this spring but it broke. This time I bought 2 just in case one broke again. We got the cheap Barbie kite flying great, however no matter how hard we tried we couldn't get the more expensive one off the ground. Next time I'll just have to stick to the cheapies. Wednesday, May 20, 2015. March, April, and oh yeah May is almost over. Our family at the funeral. We love Grandpa and will miss him but know he's moved on to bigger and better. Thursday, July 9, 2015. Life has been pretty basic and boring at our house lately. June was a good month. I guess we really were busy just with regular life type stuff. June was HOT! Monday, March 16, 2015. February was an amazing month for us! Ellie was born February 10, 2015. She weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and was 21 inches long. We got to see her in the hospital and spend a little time with her. Sadly she spent 2 days in the NICU for antibiotics because they were worried she might have had an infection but she did great! A couple weeks ago while I was working Monty took Mia down for a visit and they went swimming. Mia got to try our her new puddle jumper.
