Places we have traveled in 2012. Sapparo Snow Festival 2012. Sunday, November 3, 2013. I spent the month of October in Kansas City having fun with 'the Kansas City girls'- - Emily, Audrey, Sydney and Stella. Steve was there for some of it, and needless to say we had a great time! They WILL wear you out, no doubt about it, but it was TOTALLY worth it. I had driven to Kansas by myself with my new car,. She rode awesome, AND- she also got her first speeding ticket in Illinois! Places we have traveled in 2012. Sapparo Snow Festival 2012. Monday, March 25, 2013. Having fun with the Schaub boys. Keenan, Kip, and Lukas! We went out and about to enjoy the cherry blossoms the first day. It is sure fun to see Tokyo through children's eyes. The things they notice that are 'different' are fascinating and funny. Places we have traveled in 2012. Sapparo Snow Festival 2012. Sapparo Snow Festival 2012. This was on the first day, just starting out. This is the scaffolding they used to construct the monument. The real festival did not open until on that Monday night so we were able to see them construct them. We went even FURTHER north on a bus tour to Odari, this is the ocean- (well a canal that leads to the ocean) and it was FREEZING up there. LOOK at the size of those crabs. The Hawaii monument lit up at night.

There will be some changes here, my MobileMe account will be dis-banned as of June 30th, and I am exploring other options so this is just a temporary 'fix'. I have put a link to it on the first blog, OR you can just click on the Pictures in Kyoto tab. The 10,000 Tori Gates, mostly the writing is from Sake companies. The Japanese children were with their classes- -the LOVED the looks of Olivia- they have good taste! We have to admit it IS funny!
