St Mark’s Church, Kennington (1824). During World War II, St Mark’s suffered serious bomb damage. The only parts to survive were the Grecian facade and pillars, topped by the small cupola and cross. After seven years of dereliction, the church won a reprieve with support from a neighbour-the Archbishop of Canterbury based in Lambeth Palace.In the 1960s, the church was restored and opened. So it’s been several months since we’ve had a blog post here and it’s not because we’ve been being lazy – quite the opposite in fact! It’s been a great learning experience for both of us working with Robin and Sean as they had clear ideas about how they wanted to create their brand, but they were also open to our (read “Kiri’s”! For now, it’s Christmas and we will focus on the light.
