I have had a few folks ask me what I selected! I picked the light fixtures that are shown in the picture with the blue island. All of the wood floors are done and look gorgeous (more pictures later) but today is the day for new carpet in Erin's room and the guest room. Yesterday we took everythink out of Erin's room and put it in our room. Needless to say, we are still living at the condo. The painters are here working on a second coat of paint everywhere. Long time, no post! Here is a picture of my wonderful husband outside making a dent in the snow. The fact that we have two cars and a huge dumpster in our driveway did decrease his workload! These are the new hall lights, we used to have a 'runway' of can lights in the entry hall way. Now we have eliminated two and added light fixtures. I love the new look. We had a fabulous night on 'Bernard' this evening Thanks to Captain Blanchard of omens Sailing for a beautiful night. Halloween, post trick or treating. Here is an update after our fabulous tour of the neighborhood collecting candy. Here is William and Sydney who was dressed up as Slinky Dog from Toy Story. Erin the swim champ. 2 hours of driving. 10 hours of competition. 5 medals for 6 races, priceless! She had a great day! She won 1st-4th plus a 2nd place trophy out of all 7 and under girls (maybe 100 girls) for most points (which are assigned by place won and type of race). She was a proud and happy girl tonight. Sunday was a special Indian Princess event at the Lombard Skate Rink. Erin has never roller skated before, but considering she is addicted to ice skating we figured she would enjoy it. The rink was practically empty and she and Allison had a wonderful time. I was a bit afraid that Jim would leave with more torn tendons in his shoulder but he managed to escape unscathed.
