Monday, November 26, 2012. Beach Ed day at Brighton Beach. What a fantastic time Room 2 had at Brighton Beach for beach ed with the Surf Life saver instructors. We learnt a lot about being safe at the beach and in the water. We learnt all about the different jobs surf life savers have to do! Our favourite moments were - building sandcastles, pretending to be surf life savers, swimming and playing in the water. It was a gorgeous sunny day - we can't wait to do it all again one day! Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Georgia Baines shared her science news with us - with her special helper: Mr Andrew Baines! They showed us an awesome experiment using vinegar and baking soda. We discovered that when you mix the baking soda and vinegar together in an empty film canister and put the lid on . . . it makes the film canister shoots high up into the air! Room 2 children thought the experiment was amazing! Thanks so much Georgia and Andrew! Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Maori poi and rakau in Room 2!

Wednesday, November 21, 2012. MACHINES WORKING AT OUR NEW SCHOOL. Room 2 children took a trip over the road to have a look at how the building of our new school is going. We were fascinated by all the different machinery we could see working there! Lots of machines all busily working to help build our new school! Machines at our new school on PhotoPeach. Room 4 St Marys

Room 4 St Marys. Thursday, 8 December 2016. Water Safety at the Mosgiel Pool. Over the last 3 days the children have been learning some water safety ideas using life jackets to help stay afloat in the water, using snorkels and towing or being towed by another person if you got in to difficulty.
