Room 2 St Mary's. Wednesday, 13 March 2013. Today we had a dress up day to celebrate book week. We dressed up as our favorite book character. The whole school had a parade then we did our own version of the Harlem Shake. What happened after the fat kitten got stuck in the honey pot? Once there was a little kitten stuck in the honey pot. It ate all the honey and then the kitten is now fat and it can't get out of the pot because the honey is stuck on its tail. Why does the moth fly around at nighttime?

Grandad and Grannies are really just kids at heart. My grandad versus me in soccer and I always beat him. Then he gives me a piggie back and runs to the fence and kicks the soccer balls. They put their head under the water to find some weeds. Sometimes they waddle on the road. The cars beep. Then when the mother duck walks the ducklings walk in a line behind her, and it is a good exercise. It's a plane that can fly round by itself.". So I turned it on and then I attached the bee to it and it worked brilliantly well.

Brooklyn directed a play. She was a great leader. Ruby, Aidan, AJ, Rangi and Sawyer acted out the play and they all did a brilliant job. Sarah is writing a fiction story about a queen. Taylan and Nathaniel worked independently to find out more about native snails. Theresa L and Joejerry are making super progress in their reading.

Tillie had the role of being the inn keeper and she was a terrific leading lady. Our readers Charlotte and Josh kept everyone informed about the story of Jesus' birthday - they read clearly and beautifully. All of the other characters, singers and actors alike were just great.
