News & Events. We are fortunate to have the church of St Mary’s, Osbaldeston right on our doorstep and we feel very much a part of parish life. The church building was constructed in 1838, thanks to the generosity of Captain Heatley and the Hubbersty family, though local Catholics had worshipped in the area long before this time. ST MARY'S P.S. Y6 Salmon Hatchery Visit. Today our Year 6 pupils had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Salmon Hatchery in Bushmills with their peers from Portglenone P.S. A warm welcome awaits you at the Parent, Teacher and Friends Association of St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Bicester (PTFA). Most of our group is made up of parents and teachers who attend the meetings and volunteer their time and resources as and when they can. We are well supported by the School Staff group and we are particularly grateful for the keen support and encouragement of Miss Pickering, Head Teacher.
