The purpose of the Altar Guild is to maintain, enhance, and prepare all worship areas in order to help worshippers focus and priests to administer the sacraments. Members meet once a month on a Saturday in the church Library to discuss a different book all have read. Members volunteer to assist in visitation at homes, or by letters or telephone to those belonging to the church fellowship. The Halos are committed to helping bereaved families by offering a meal and assisting in any other way they are needed.

Youth Programs at St. Michaels. These young people help the priest perform various tasks before, during, and at the close of the worship service. Episcopal Youth Community (EYC). This group of third, fourth, and fifth graders also meet for fellowship, fun, and Christian outreach. They also have opportunities to attend summer camp and Diocesan retreats. Meets each Sunday from 9:15 until 10:15. Christian activities and Bible study are provided for 3 year olds through Adult. Friends are always Welcome!

Rectors Message for September. For minds to think, and hearts to love, and hands to serve, we thank you, Lord. That prayer is found in the Book of Common Prayer’s. Litany of Thanksgivings. This fall at St. Michael and All Angels, we will have many opportunities to sharpen our minds, fill hearts, and keep our serving hands active. I hope everyone will join us on Sunday, September 11th during the breakfast hour between the two morning services for our annual Rally Day. In the spring, and a training session.
