Every year I look forward to my husband’s family reunion. It’s a grand time with tons of family (obviously), food, and old-fashioned Texan fun! We all catch up, overeat, and then sit down to watch the show. The show happens to be the patriarchs of the family hilariously running an auction of goods brought in by the family. Some are purchased, some are of the white elephant gift variety, and lots are homemade. Last year I donated this, my labor of love:. 1: Weekend in Stockholm Throw by Debbie Stoller.

Feb 28, 2012. I've crocheted 39 Granny Squares so far! Stack of 39 all together. Here are some of the newest ones I have completed:. Feeling productive and finished 8 in one day. I've got 17 more to go and then I can start putting them together! I'm going back and forth on 2 different options for finishing them. I'm sure I'll have my mind made up soon! Feb 25, 2012. I feel like I have crafty-ADD where I can't stay with one project or type of craft for too long! My newest geek love - Doctor Who. One thing...

The mad adventures of a lesbi@n hooker and her siamese cat! New beginnings at the end of May. May 30, 2012. There is a strong possibility I am going to need a wheelchair tomorrow… it is a shame my sister lives an 11 hour drive from me, I’m sure I could otherwise borrow hers until my body recovers from a 90 minute Iyengar yoga session on Monday and then moving house today. Every time I bend over I just about fall over, so we’ll see how things pan out tomorrow! Yes, we are going to be very happy here.

The mad adventures of a lesbi@n hooker and her siamese cat! New beginnings at the end of May →. May 26, 2012. In my last post I told you I would show you a WIP I had been working on for about 10 weeks. Don’t be fooled by the amount of time I spent making it, thinking it is going to be some enormous amazing project! I got bored of it and it became a very tedious project and consequently ended up in my basket, totally overlooked! Am I alone here? Has this ever happened to you? Would you like to have a look?

The Craft Giraffe: Zig zag tea cosy
http://thecraftgiraffe.blogspot.com/2012/11/zig-zag-tea-cosy.html
Sunday, 4 November 2012. Zig zag tea cosy. I just finished a second zig zag/ripple tea cosy, same pattern as previous post(just jenn designs). I used a flower on top to decorate and can't decide to put a button in the center or not. Any feedback greatly appreciated. Hope your all having a lovely weekend. Happy Crocheting, x. The Craft Giraffe: December 2011
http://thecraftgiraffe.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, 29 December 2011. Crafted Christmas Pressies - Part 2. In the end I had ran out of time. I had planned to stitch the snowflakes onto some red felt cut in a circle but it was Christmas Eve and my husband phoned to say he was just leaving work so I just attached them. Even though they're starched they're still floppy so i'll take them down and fix that part. The crochet stockings were made using Angie's Le Monde de Sucrettes Little Christmas Socks. From www.marthastewart.com. Until next time,.
