The house built around 1900 has been renovated and turned into a cosy group lodge. The old classrooms on the ground floor and the charming bedrooms upstairs give the house its unique character and creates a welcoming atmosphere. On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen, dining room (max. 40 people), lounge and restroom. Värmland with its many lakes, hilly landscape, five climate zones and its rich animal population offers many possibilities for different activities, especially nature based activities. In the menu to the left you find some examples and suggestions for activities during your stay in Stömne. Besides those there are many other things to do, e.g. swimming, playing volleyball, baking bread over a camp fire and many more. Stömne is easy to reach from different directions; it is located between some major Scandinavian cities. The distances are:. View map of Stömne. In a larger window. By plane and train. Coming from the E18 (either from Oslo or from Stockholm) you turn off on the 175 towards Arvika when passing near Nysäter. You follow the 175 until the first turn-off to Stömne. There you turn left and find a small parking lot on the left hand side which belongs to Stömne lodge.
