This is Merryn, she is 17 and has Severe ME. These pictures were taken during a hospital admission to fit a feeding tube directly into her stomach. She currently only weighs just over 6 stone due to severe sickness and having an unsafe swallow reflex. Unfortunately she is unable to tolerate more than a very small amount of feed at present, she is also currently bed bound and experiencing the wide array of symptoms this illness gives.
