Tuesday, July 29, 2008. When I was a kid, my dad had this Indiana Jones hat that he always wore to work in the yard and this weekend I just happened to find another one. Thursday, February 5, 2009. Our Sweet Girl Turned One! Last Friday, her actual birthday, was spent picking up the last few items that I needed for her party. My parents were really good sports about being drug around town. The best part of the day was when we stopped to let Elaina play at the mall. She and Papa had a great time together! Ready, Set, GO! Gracelyns not so good right now. Happy Birthday to my sweet birthday boy! Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Ready, Set, GO! The day is here! My first day back at work in a public school. Such mixed emotions. I am looking forward to sitting with the cool kids at lunch. Gracelyn told me she would save me a seat. So that was a relief. Whew! Also it is just for this school year. I didn't commit past May which I am glad so I can make my mind up in the summer what I want to do. Anyways say a prayer!

Saturday, January 10, 2009. Steps HAVE been taken! Elaina has made tremendous progress when it comes to getting around. Yesterday she decided that she enjoyed standing up without looking for something to hold on to. I have seen her practice standing from a sitting position as well as bending down to pick something up and then returning to her upright starting point. Finally something to write about! Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Finally something to write about! We found out today that the newest Melban child will be a BOY. Now that is worth blogging about. Other than that we have been doing the regular summer things. Swimming, playing at the park for hours on end, lazy days enjoying the company of my kids being home all together. Life is wonderful.
