It will be a fine commodious two story and a half building, an ornament to the place. Deer Isle Gazette, Sept 18, 1897. The building houses a millinery shop owned by Mrs. Emma Marcus. Annie Blomgrin and Isobel Gray run a ladies’ dress shop at this location. The building has a variety of short-time uses. June 9, 1959.

EBooks and Audio Books. Great Sites For Kids. INFORMATION FOR OUR PATRONS. Cards are free to both residents and visitors who are on the island for two weeks or more. We ask only for a current mailing address and phone number. Cards are kept on file at the library. The loan period for all items is 14 days. All items may be renewed unless someone else has reserved them. Call or send an email to renew an item. The fine for all late items is 10. Per day the library is open.
