Jophia: January 2012
http://jophia.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 27, 2012. Vera and her babies. It started off with a little cuddling. Then Vera placed her babies around Sasha (which Sasha tolerated, mostly). Then major cuddly cuteness ensued. Saturday, January 7, 2012. One might wonder how much of a birth story a planned C-section has to offer. This is more of a story of what happened after. The birth of our second baby girl, when we found out that she has Down Syndrome. We went in for our scheduled C-section on Monday, November 21. 8221; and she said...

Jophia: Fridays with Grandma
http://jophia.blogspot.com/2012/04/fridays-with-grandma.html
Monday, April 16, 2012. Since January, Joe's mother, Jody, has come to visit and help out with the girls on Friday mornings. Friday is Joe's busiest day, and Jody happens to have no work commitments until 2, so the timing seemed to work out perfectly - we're lucky that she lives just under an hour away! Vera really loves seeing her Grandma walk through the door in the morning, and gets a kick out of showing off her newest toys and activities (including potty! Thanks for all the help and snuggles, Grandma!

Jophia: March 2012
http://jophia.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 18, 2012. I figured that the new photos at the top of the blog deserved to be followed up with some recent info on the girls. They are both doing pretty well! Vera is her usual bright and bubbly self, although we've been working *very* hard on learning to use nice words and nice voice (as in, "can I have yogurt please, mama? She comes up with all kinds of cute things to say recently, like "I have an idea, mommy! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Avon Cribs: Captain Avon. Waiting for Baby Turvy.

Jophia: May 2012
http://jophia.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 21, 2012. Sasha is 6 months old! It's really hard to believe it's been half a year! These days, although there's still a lot of stuff to handle and coordinate, it seems like the world has stopped spinning so fast, and we're keeping our heads above water pretty well. Sasha is on a really good trajectory with everything, and we're all doing a lot better. AND we don't have to wake her up at night anymore for a feeding! But, since about a month ago, her weight gain has been so good, that we can n...
