What is expected of me? – obsessive digressions

https://obsessivedigressions.wordpress.com/2016/06/02/what-is-expected-of-me

I obsess. Therefore I am. What is expected of me? June 2, 2016. June 2, 2016. It’s been a long time since I posted in my blog. I made this blog to share all the things that I enjoy obsessing over. I then became very busy with my craft shows in the winter season after which I was totally burnt out and wanted to do nothing. I completely lost track of writing in my blog. 2016 started with a lot of anxiety of what is to happen next. What am I doing with my life? Is it too late to change tracks? Having kids i...

New Love – Fermented skincare – obsessive digressions

https://obsessivedigressions.wordpress.com/2015/09/18/new-love-fermented-skincare

I obsess. Therefore I am. New Love – Fermented skincare. September 18, 2015. September 25, 2015. My love affair with fermented skincare started with IOPE Bio Essence. It was the first fermented product I put on my face (apart from the usual yogurt mask I used). It made my skin glow. Ofcourse my pocket did not glow along with it so I never repurchased it. Homemade Fermented Rice Water:. It was good for the hair though, my hair got really soft when I used it as a rinse after my usual shampoo conditioner.

Hello new green world! – obsessive digressions

https://obsessivedigressions.wordpress.com/2015/08/29/new-buddings-in-the-garden

I obsess. Therefore I am. Hello new green world! August 29, 2015. August 31, 2015. A macro photo journal entry for today to see what the garden is bringing me in this lovely growing season. I haven’t had a chance to plant anything new this year but that doesn’t stop nature from letting what is already there to thrive. I’ve taken a macro look at these plants, so you can see what is not so visible at a first glance at the plant. Succulent rosette budding a new rosette! One of the most precious plants in my...

https://obsessivedigressions.wordpress.com/2015/06/02/the-hibernation-bug

I obsess. Therefore I am. June 2, 2015. June 17, 2015. Do you ever just get burnt out by everything? Then after a good hibernation (or two) it starts getting better? I was not like this before I turned 30. But it seems things are more difficult to handle now. Why do you ask? I wish I knew. Is it the resting? Is it the not doing anything? Is it peaceful to just zone out? How do you hibernate or unwind? Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window). Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Click to email...

I obsess. Therefore I am. Sweet Potato – Vegetable of the week. May 10, 2015. June 17, 2015. I decided to ramble on about a Vegetable/Spice/Herb every week. They are my loves and I can be quite a nerd about them, so I hope you will enjoy reading about it as much as I like talking about it. So this week’s Vegetable is…. drumroll…. I obsess. Therefore I am. Those forgotten skin cells! June 12, 2015. June 17, 2015. If you are like me, you need a reminder on ‘forgotten’ skincare areas. We buy all these products to take care of our skin but tend to forget some important tips that helps us achieve our skincare goals. Most commonly neglected skincare areas. I mean, really… isn’t this the obvious one? But we all tend to not take much care of the skin on the neck. Until we get a turkey neck and try to reverse that! Solution #2: After you ...

How I tackle my Dry Skin II – obsessive digressions

I obsess. Therefore I am. How I tackle my Dry Skin II. May 14, 2015. June 18, 2015. Hope you guys liked my previous post on ‘How I tackle my Dry Skin’. That post was more of a general overview without clouding anyone’s opinion of which products to use. But this post will be all about which products I use to keep my dry skin well… normal. So here it goes with a breakdown of products that I currently use (it changes now and then). Step 1: Oil cleanser. Approx. $9-$15 depending on where you purchase it.

Snail-ing it! – obsessive digressions

https://obsessivedigressions.wordpress.com/2015/06/01/snail-ing-it

I obsess. Therefore I am. June 1, 2015. June 1, 2015. The battle of the Snail Creams! I will give a very short and sweet overview of the two snail creams I have tried. I’ve tried Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Cream. And the Mizon All in One Snail Repair Cream. These are both great creams in my opinion. They both do different things. The Missha one is more of a last step moisturizing gel type cream while the Mizon is more like a treatment you apply before your skincare. Mizon – $18 /- on Amazon.

Nutrient Dense Food List Summary. Many people, myself included, have searched for a nutrient dense food list. My reason for looking and possibly yours is that last year the American Heart Association recommended that our diets should consist primarily of these nutrient dense foods. Now they use the term nutrient rich. They probably thought they were confusing people. In order for a dairy product to be included in a nutrient dense food list, it must be fat free or very low fat. No more than 30% of the...
