View From the Fairway. Friday, June 11, 2010. And the beat goes on! I must say this however, much to my surprise. When I logged on to blogger for the first time since the Christmas Holidays, I was half expecting those who had signed on as followers would have long vacated this sorry site. But lo and behold, there you all were (are), exactly as I left so long ago. Hmmm! Nice to see you friend! Sorry to hear about your knee. :(. The word verification is press! Glad you did. ♥. View From the Fairway. Saturday, August 29, 2009. Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Talk about “roughing it”. Oh well.to each their own. Sunday night was my last night. For dinner I made myself some skewered garlic shrimp with rice and a side Caesar Salad. Yummo! Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Over Hill, Over Dale. Most of the gear I would need I was able to fit into the panniers or saddle bags on my bike. The rest, clothing and other odds and sods were carried by me in my backpack. Without weighing it, I woul...Fortu...

Two Room Flat, by Jill Urbach. December 7, 2013. If you are a Princess Diana fan you will doubly love this story because you will find kindred spirits in both the main character (Claire) and the author (Urbach). While the many famous London settings and historical details enhance “Two Room Flat,” they do not over-power it, so even if you aren’t a fan of England’s royal family chances are good you will still be charmed by this story. Seeing no other possible option, Claire moves to London. In that exc...

Queen, by Heather Gray. November 9, 2014. Today I read Queen (Regency Refuge Book 3). It was the perfect way to spend a quiet Sunday — with murder’s, thieves, cut-throats, and traitors. The twists and turns of this story — of the entire series, in fact — has kept me on the edge of my seat, and flipping pages as fast as I could read. With each book the story grows more and more complicated, and more and more compelling. I don’t know what the title of book four will be, but I am sure it is coming...Quilly ...

Thoughts of a more than midlife dreamer, writer, lover of life and God. Friday, April 8, 2011. Beautiful Day in Red Rock. As some of you have noticed, I tried to post something last week that did not come through. The problem being that I actually posted it on my blog,. We Write for Ten,. A project no longer in existence, and then tried to transfer it to this blogging page. It didn't work. So, today, I am going to try to duplicate that post. We spent a lot of time watching them. Their surefootedness.

Pam's Ponderings: Family
http://pamsponderings-hippochick.blogspot.com/2011/08/family.html
Thoughts of a more than midlife dreamer, writer, lover of life and God. Monday, August 1, 2011. I think in my last post, I had just returned from visiting some of my precious family in Pennsylvania. I was feeling poorly, and perhaps complaining just a teensy. I'm happy to report that I am finally feeling. Fit as a fiddle. The last of my ailments was my poor aching tooth. I finally ended up with a root canal which was a tremendous relief. Today I had the permanent filling and it is almost perfect. My own ...
