For over 100 years, Ridgewood NJ has been a quaint residential neighborhood with a character that has been preserved by strict planning ordinances. The quality of life is high and people choose Ridgewood as a place to bring up their families because of the safe, leafy suburban environment. While the wording of the H-Zone section of the Master Plan was inadequate, the changes made on June 21st 2010, usher-in an unprecedented urbanization of Ridgewood with long-term consequences.
