I am sure I wouldnt be today except that we are visiting my mother in the nursing home and I am quite bored. Today the sanctuary has a deck where visitors can watch the bears eating every evening from Memorial Day to Labor Day (except for Mondays when the Sanctuary is closed). Polar Bear of Churchill. I called information and got the phone number for the Manitoba Bureau of Tourism (1-800-665-0040). I called and requested information about Churchill. A couple weeks later a packet arrived with lists of all the hotels and tour operators in Churchill. These lists included short descriptions of the services offered and prices. It was a wonderful trip that I would like to do again. Hopefully next time there will be more polar bears. Gifts made with my photos.

Alaskan Trip to Photograph Alaskan Brown Bear and Black Bear. This was one of the best trips I have ever taken. Monument Valley Day 1. Canyon X and Monument Valley. We shoot the cougar and the bobcat in the slot canyon. The day is overcast and parts of the canyon are quite dim so a flash is sometimes required. The cougar jumps from ledge to ledge in the canyon but only one of my shots is in focus. The bobcat is adorable. During the second game drive there was an optional visit to a local village. Since I would have missed most of a game drive in order to see the village I passed it up. I went to Africa to see the animals and I wasnt about to pass up a moment of it! There are just a few more things I would like to tell anyone planning to take a trip like this.
