Stories from labor and delivery. Friday, April 20, 2012. A few months ago I shared this picture of my dear friend Beth. Last week I had the privilege of watching this sweet girl come into this world. Her mama labored hard and well and then. Lyla Grace was born. I have now had the honor of being present for the birth of both of Beth's daughters. There are few things more special than being part of a person's most painful and beautiful moments. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Chicago, IL, United States.

Stories from Behind the Lens: i Heart faces: Pets

http://www.storiesfrombehindthelens.blogspot.com/2011/04/i-heart-faces-pets.html

Stories from labor and delivery. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. I Heart faces: Pets. This week at i Heart faces it's pets. I usually use my cat Mudles for anything pets, but I figured it was time to give Jonas a shot at fame. This is my sneaky, naughty, misbehaving rabbit who thinks it's hilarious to knock over his water dish, jump out of his 2 1/2 foot high pen, eat everything in sight, lick my nose, sit at my feet and beg for food, and sprint through the house and leap into the air. He's quite a fellow.

For laughter and tears and honest conversations and hard conversations and dreams and memories and sleepovers. I love how we've all grown together and know each other better than before. http://eliselo.blogspot.com/2012/08/staying-put.html

Life in the city. Living, working and loving in the heart of downtown Denver. Saturday, August 25, 2012. I have been thinking a lot about staying put lately. Because that's what we're doing. We've been here in this city for almost 6 years (longer than anywhere else I've lived except the place I was born), and God is giving us more. And this isn't the dream I dreamed all those years, but I'm realizing that this life of staying put is better than I imagined. Our dream was always to go. Living the Free Life.

Stories From a Working Mommy

Stories From a Working Mommy. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. After the hustle and bustle of the holidays comes the "winter blues". The glitter and shine are gone and we are left with cold, snow and recently thunderstorms with tornado warnings in February. This is the time where viruses seem to prevail and it seems like winter will never end. We all know it will and soon enough there will be some other element of weather to wish away. What would our list look like? Why do we wish our time away so quickly?
