Heart and Family: Update- 3 weeks after surgery

http://storiesfromtheheart-christa.blogspot.com/2010/10/update-3-weeks-after-surgery.html

Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Update- 3 weeks after surgery. Many people have been asking how Gabe is doing so I thought it would be a good time to give an update. And.he is doing very well! It really seems as if the surgery was successful and the best gage that I have is by measuring his oxygenation. He is saturating between 94-99 consistently. And, for all of you out there that have no idea what the normal should be.that is pretty much normal! October 21, 2010 at 8:47 AM. Update- 3 weeks after surgery.

Thursday, September 30, 2010. Things are finally really starting to move toward Gabe getting out of. The ICU. They took out his second chest tube early this evening and. That only leaves one more to go. The last chest tube standing is on. His right side and is still draining chylus fluid from his plural. Effusion. I am really hoping they will take it out tomorrow. Heart and Family: Oh what a Feeling

http://storiesfromtheheart-christa.blogspot.com/2010/10/oh-what-feeling.html

Monday, October 11, 2010. Oh what a Feeling. I was thrilled and they actually tasted pretty good. Jeff's family came over yesterday as well to see Gabe and celebrate Alethia's birthday and we had to think of a low-fat Happy Birthday dessert. So, we bought little angel food cups and put fat free pudding and fat free cool whip on top. The kids actually really liked it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Update- 3 weeks after surgery. Oh what a Feeling. We are coming home! For the Sick Kids. Got to get up!
