Back to the middle. Monday, January 5, 2009. Money on the go. Blogged with the Flock Browser. Haha that's so funny.i have yet to see one of those. I'm sure there's some sort of security mechanism. Maybe even a GPS tracker? Either way, one of the first things I was told when I got here was that crime in Qatar was minimal at best.and I can see that.when people leave their car running and go shopping.that definitely means that this place is safe lol! Back to the middle: Remembering Amy Knapp
http://backtothemiddle1.blogspot.com/2008/08/remembering-amy-knapp.html
Back to the middle. Saturday, August 16, 2008. I just recently found out that Dr. Amy Knapp. One of my fave grad school professors passed away in May. She taught Government Documents and was one of the coolest professors I've ever met. Although she has her doctorate, she insisted on her students calling her Amy. She was one of those professors that people said " You have. And that's the type of person she was. She will surely be missed. Blogged with the Flock Browser. August 16, 2008 at 12:48 PM.

Back to the middle: Customer Service
http://backtothemiddle1.blogspot.com/2008/12/customer-service.html
Back to the middle. Saturday, December 13, 2008. The one thing I missed so much from the states is customer service. It was so nice to walk into a store and have the employees of the store ask "Can I help you find anything? Or "Did you find everything? Or "Would you like me to check if any of our other stores have this? Now this is not to say that everyone is like this, but for the most part it seems that customer service is one part that was left out of employee training. Blogged with the Flock Browser.

Back to the middle: Good bye radio station
http://backtothemiddle1.blogspot.com/2008/08/good-bye-radio-station.html
Back to the middle. Saturday, August 2, 2008. Good bye radio station. At the same time there's talk of starting a dress code for expats here. Not that they're related, but i do find it kind of odd that this station has been taken off the air and at the same time there is talk of a dress code to conform with Islamic society. So if the Qur'an is the heart of Islam doesn't removing this station from the airwaves show the value placed on religion in society? August 5, 2008 at 9:44 PM. August 15, 2008 at 10:31...
