Storyboard for a Disparate Life

Storyboard for a Disparate Life. Friday, June 4, 2010. As previously noted, I went to New Orleans recently and did some shooting with a Leica M6. I shot a lot inside the jazz clubs at night and used 3200 speed film, both Kodak and Ilford versions. Neither of my digital cameras could have produced acceptable images in those conditions, and their size would have made me stand out much more than the smaller, discreetly black M6. Storyboard for a Disparate Life. Friday, June 4, 2010. Okay, Maybe Not. If blogger doesn't irritate me as much as it did in the past, I may try and post snapshots and other works here again. I will, as much as is humanly possible, try and stay away from politics, religion and nuclear physics. The photo is from a recent trip to New Orleans. Shot with an M6 using 3200 speed film. Storyboard for a Disparate Life: That's it. I'm Done.

http://storyboardforadisparatelife.blogspot.com/2008/12/thats-it-im-done.html

Storyboard for a Disparate Life. Friday, December 5, 2008. That's it. I'm Done. Obviously the brain dead sacks of shit who write the program for blogger need to go back to work at McDonalds (actually, that's putting down the people who work at McDonalds, sorry). I can't deal with the ineptitude any longer so instead of getting pissed on an almost daily basis, I'm just going to close up shop. I was going to post this right before the inauguration but as this is my last post. I take it that you don't agree...

The Fly in my Soup is Crying: Butterfly

http://cryingflysoup.blogspot.com/2010/07/butterfly.html

The Fly in my Soup is Crying. Tuesday, July 27, 2010. I just saw this at Cemetery Dance Publications. The limited edition of Simon Clark's Butterfly. Is now listed as In-Stock. And this is truly brilliant artwork. Am I biased because I wrote the novella. Nope! The internal illustrations are nothing less than a treasure house of images, too. Great work, Steven. Thank you so much Simon! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Billing Fraud Part 2. Links to the outside world.

The Fly in my Soup is Crying: Interim

http://cryingflysoup.blogspot.com/2011/11/interim.html

The Fly in my Soup is Crying. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. I vowed that the next post on this blog would be the memorial for our westie, Pupkin. Writing about him proved to be painful, and still is now even after a whole year (hence the procrastination). It is like having to say goodbye all over again, but with the anniversary date of his passing quickly approaching I need to do it. Earlier this year Cody Goodfellow posted a progress report on the Perilous Press Blog. Holding a copy of Michael Shea's.

The Fly in my Soup is Crying: 11/22/09 - 11/29/09

http://cryingflysoup.blogspot.com/2009_11_22_archive.html

The Fly in my Soup is Crying. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. We had a blast this past weekend. Saturday night we hung out with the great folks of "The Old Dark Clubhouse" gang at the Wonderfest. Sunday found us at the monthly Sunday Salon at The Tim Faulkner Gallery. Among the scary subjects discussed Saturday night were ghosts, and among the scary subjects discussed Sunday was health insurance. The insurance conversation was by far the scariest of the weekend. In other news, Perilous Press. Well, back to t...

Summit Studios: The Gabrielle Louise Trio

http://darrenmahuron.blogspot.com/2008/04/gabrielle-louise-trio.html

Monday, April 28, 2008. The Gabrielle Louise Trio. Saturday I shot album artwork for the Gabrielle Louise Trio. We chose a local bar that is currently changing hands so that we wouldn't have to be rushed or in anyone's way. The concept was a shot of the band playing music on stage as well as a hand of poker at the same time. I'm including a short promotional video and the final image. Nice work my friend. The video and the image look great. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!
