Monday, April 16, 2012. How else is misusing words on the internet going to change our language? I constantly see people misuse your and you're, and also their, there, and they're. Maybe they will merge to become the same written word with different definitions as is often done on the internet. Your: 1) belonging to you 2) contraction of you are. So, noticing white privilege may be very important from an equity issue, but it doesn't lend itself to any course of action (except maybe that of inspiring guilt). Monday, August 18, 2014. I've seen a lot of discussion over the years about the costs of healthcare in the US. I agree they have gone through the roof. There need to be checks and balances to avoid these kinds of problems. What are our options? I don't see how the situation is any better.
