Both doctors reviewed Hal's most recent CT scan which was taken just before the new year. The doctors were impressed with the improvements in the scan since he was hospitalized at Piedmont. The Story of Hal Benson. Sunday, November 20, 2011. Sunday, November 20th. It has been a great blessing for Hal that Piedmont Hospital is down the street from the Cathedral of Christ the King. Every day someone from there comes to bring him Communion. Today his good friend Deacon Tom Huff brought him Communion (for the third time) all the way from Saint Brigid's. His body and soul are being well-fed! Then Hal's neurosurgeon's PA visited. The plan is to have another picture (MRI? Progress is being made!
