Storyteller, Interrupted

Friday, November 13, 2009. Anyways, this is also the first time I've been in banking/finance since the economic crash and, to be honest, I am shocked at how much things have changed. I think the video sums up at least one change, too many qualified people for too few jobs! If you bring in half a million dollars, banks will pay you around 0.7 - 0.9%. Ridiculous. Monday, November 9, 2009. How to be a contestant on the price is right: part two. You're the next contestant on the Price is Right! Bob turned to...

Storyteller Jack

Friday, August 14, 2015. 169; By Jack Bogut. Rain hung on the naked trees like a jewels, each drop glistening in the street light before falling to the leaves on the ground. She watched through the window, seeing everything and nothing at the same time. She was only half awake. She looked for the paper and couldn’t see it, so she slipped a raincoat over her pajamas and padded across the porch in her bare feet down the steps and onto the lawn, her toes curling up against the wet grass. She did everything ...

Meet the Storyteller

What Kind of Stories. I'd Like A Proposal. What are People Saying? Once upon a time, I decided to do the most natural thing in the world. My family and friends asked:. Have you lost your mind? You closed Cute Kids Consignment? What are you going to do? Maybe I've lost my mind. Yes, I did close the store. Now, I'm telling stories. In the beginning, kids scattering toys didn't bother me. So, I started a spiritual search. The answer was surprising. Become a storyteller! I considered teaching a drama class .

storytellerjim

Jim tells stories to people gathered on a hillside, sitting in a circle at school, round a fire side, in a castle- you name it, it’s probably happened! After many years as a Primary school teacher in the city, and then leading an inner city environmental training site, Jim enjoys telling stories that demonstrate humanity’s dependence on nature. Since he is a longtime native of Northumberland, the history and landscape of this beautiful and turbulent region also feature largely in Jim’s repertoire.

Storyteller

August 01, 2012. BOOK OF THE FUTURE. January 27, 2012. 8220;Storytelling awakens us to that which is real. Honest. . . . it transcends the individual. . . . Those things that are most personal are most general, and are, in turn, most trusted. Stories bind. They are basic to who we are. Pieces of White Shell. January 10, 2012. For the Love of Books. December 31, 2011. This beautiful song from Sarah Slean is my wish for the New Year, for. All the storytellers everywhere. Listen to the sweet lyrics and enjoy.

Storyteller: A Writer's Journey

May 4, 2015. I love editing. There is something magical about being a second pair of eyes, watching a piece go from good to better. I catch typos, plot holes, and litterary faux-pas in published materials all the time. Last year, I wrote that I was available to be an editor or beta reader. No one contacted me. I thought, "Oh well, I guess God doesn't want me to be an editor.". A few weeks ago, I read an ad put out by a site called Geeks Under Grace. So, come visit Geeks Under Grace. Links to this post.
