Friday, July 15, 2011. For Kelly's birthday he got a smoker. We had friends over for dinner so he created an apple glazed smoke pork loin. It was truly amazing. Here is the entire masterpiece. Next we bought an ordinary map and attached to foam board, stained wood trim and Kelly created a frame. We added push pins to the places that we have been. Sunday, July 29, 2012. Perk #356 of the new home is the yard. This year I was able to plant my own garden with the help of my very hard-working, expert of a grandpa. Here are some the pics this far. We started from scratch, we removed the grass square by square (transplant below). To the front of the house. Tadaaa. added some landscaping stones. This is the top level where we planted the tomatoes, peppers, and peas. Grandpa added manure and soil to my awful, clay-like, soil. Here he is tillin' up the land.

Thursday, October 7, 2010. After seeing this idea on a blog that I follow, I could not wait steal the look and complete the project myself. I found this on craigslist for $60. Here are some of the steps to the transformation. Kelly got a new sander, and we stripped it down. We used a gripper paint to cover,. Then painted 2 coats of untinted white semi gloss. Replaced all the hardware. Kelly added lighting to the top. We covered the back with a textured wall paper and painted it gray. We Bought A House!

Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Cousin Kadance as she loves to say! Cate wide awake at grandmas. I get the pleasure of watching Cate on Mondays or Fridays so you can bet I will have many more posts of her as she grows.. Of course there are hundreds of photos but here are just a few. On March 1, friends of ours, Ryan and Lisa Kirkpatrick, also welcome a baby boy, Jude Davidson, into their family. Kristy and Lisa shared a Dr. and babies were born within 2 hours of each other.. Monday, November 26, 2012. This years summer vacation was in Miami, FL. Kelly and I had driven through when we visited Fort Lauderdale but thought it would be a nice place to bring Kadance to get some R&R. We spent a lot of time at the beach and condo pool. We stayed in a time share that was in a great location on the beach and Kadance met a few friends while at the pool. Kadance looking for shells. Miami Seaquarium had a lot of animals and great shows. Monday, April 16, 2012. With all of the beautiful weather, the annual tulip fest in Pella was much earlier this year. We decided to go up on a saturday afternoon, a road trip with just the girls. Monday, December 10, 2012. On September 12, our long time prayers were answered when we received a positive pregnancy test. God is truly in charge and are thankful for that! 1st Ultra Sound, hard to see but there are 2 babies! 11 week Ultra Sound. My due date is May 18 however they have informed me that I will not go passed 38wks which would put me around May 1st. God is so Good! Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Before Kadance headed off to the Fall Festival at church, she read her 20th book for October, to receive her free personal pan pizza for Book It! We are so proud of how she is doing and improving from Kindergarten. Kadance dressed up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast (this was my old costume) and looked great! On Beggars' night Kadance decided she wanted to be an Angel. For Cate's first Halloween she was a lady bug and pulled it off well! Tractor Pull for Kadance and Cate.
