The Wasilla-based Avalanche are members of the North American Junior Hockey League, the only Tier II Junior A league in the United States. Fish, a native of Anoka, Minn. who wrapped up his collegiate playing career in March, was a four year letter-winner for the Pointers and served as captain as a junior and senior.
