The Arundel and Brighton Diocesan Trust is a Registered Charity No. 252878. St Pancras Church is situated at the junction of Irelands Lane with Western Road (the continuation of the main street through Lewes towards the west). It is a red-brick building sited opposite the Anglican Church of St Anne on Western Road. The entrance to the car park is off Western Road, immediately opposite St Pancras Church, down a lane between a house and the entrance to St Anne’s Church. Father Jonathan Martin, VG.

The Arundel and Brighton Diocesan Trust is a Registered Charity No. 252878. Lewes quickly became the third most significant Pancras site in England, after Canterbury and London. In the 1070s, a Saxon Church, St Pancras, became the nucleus of the important Cluniac Priory of St Pancras, which was dissolved in 1573. The Priest’s house was built at the same time as the church of 1870. Two cottages on the corner of Irelands Lane, on the site of the present forecourt, were used as a parish school.
