We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us. E.M. Forster. Sunday, May 12, 2013. Aww, love this! Its true, perspective changes so much as we get older and go through different things in our own lives. Ive certainly come to appreciate my mom more after being married, having kids, growing older, etc. Your mom certainly deserves props for helping you grow into the amazing person you are. HGUS! Thursday, September 26, 2013. Over Labor Day weekend we took Savannah to the zoo for the first time. I had been looking forward to doing this for so long but we wanted to wait until Savannah would actually understand what we were doing and recognize the animals. Although she seemed to enjoy herself she was still a little too young to fully comprehend what was going on all the time. She did enjoy the tram ride though! In front of the giraffes. Not all who wander are lost." J.R.R. Tolkien. There are pieces of my heart all over this planet. It is a bittersweet existence, with heartstrings pulled in multiple directions. But the end of this journey will result in a culmination of events and experiences and memories I can pull out and savor when my life is in it's twilight. We had a fabulous christmas. Now we are trying to reclaim our house from the chaos of the past couple of months. It is pretty slow going thanks to some little creatures that demand so much of my time. But I did manage to empty out my (small) closet and reconfigure it (getting rid of a huge stack of clothes in the process! Now I just have to get everything back in there. Then it's on to the kid's room! Please tell me I'm not the only person who feels like they are always a couple steps behind. Please?

Why do they grow so fast? I absolutely adore the newborn phase. So much. Looking at these makes my heart want to explode. I know I'm biased, but I think Rob and I make some gorgeous newborns. I guess it's a good thing Oskar is still waking up a few times a night so I'm not tempted to have another one. Jax from the harmon squad. New York and Co. Target (got them for Valentine's day! Paige geoff: the wedding! Fort bliss, el paso TX wedding photographer. My sister is a married woman! Pretty much the entire wedding was planned and executed in the few weeks leading up to THE BIG DAY (which made for a crazy few weeks) but we pulled it off and (in my opinion) it was a beautiful event! Paige and Geoff got sealed together in marriage at the Washington DC Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Now for the cake! A couple weeks before we were all talking about the backyard ...

Time keeps marching forward. No matter how much I want life to slow down it keeps laughing at me and speeding up. Before I know it all my kids will be grown and gone, leaving me in an empty house. Although I'm not going to lie, I am excited by the prospect of that empty house being clean. And not having to share my food.). Yes, that is a little people car he is holding with his mouth.
