A Daily Dose of Atomic Otter Cinema: Foster Care Meetings 7&8
http://atomicottercinema.blogspot.com/2016/12/foster-care-meetings-7.html
A Daily Dose of Atomic Otter Cinema. Monday, December 5, 2016. Foster Care Meetings 7&8. The last two foster care meetings were excellent. We finished our classes the Monday before Thanksgiving, and then everything has been a little crazy for a while. Between NaNoWriMo and some family concerns, the blog kind of got put on hold for a while. I'm hoping to do better from now on.but I have said that before. Goals are good to have anyway. Meeting 7: Long Term Separation; Adoption Issues for Families. We DO NO...

A Daily Dose of Atomic Otter Cinema: February 2016
http://atomicottercinema.blogspot.com/2016_02_01_archive.html
A Daily Dose of Atomic Otter Cinema. Monday, February 29, 2016. We've been learning a lot of lessons lately as we've been waiting for prayers to be answered. It's been over three years since we started trying to have a second child, and at times it has been heart-breaking and terrible. It has also taught us so much, and I'm so grateful for the lessons that I have learned. I think sometimes, I get impatient with the Lord. I think, "I'm ready now, please send the blessings! And then nothing happens. I know...

A Daily Dose of Atomic Otter Cinema: January 2017
http://atomicottercinema.blogspot.com/2017_01_01_archive.html
A Daily Dose of Atomic Otter Cinema. Wednesday, January 25, 2017. At the beginning of this year, I may have said something like, "I hope this year we get ten feet of snow in one storm so we have to dig our way out of the front door! We may not have gotten quite that much snow, but last I heard we were up to 54 inches (total this year), and we're supposed to get some more in the next couple of days. Then, Grig wanted to make something else, so he rolled a huge snowball. Kevin wanted to roll his own hu...

A Daily Dose of Atomic Otter Cinema: April 2016
http://atomicottercinema.blogspot.com/2016_04_01_archive.html
A Daily Dose of Atomic Otter Cinema. Friday, April 22, 2016. I hate to say this, but honestly, I feel like I spend half of my time manipulating Kevin. Not in a bad way! I don't ever use my powers of manipulation for evil. I picked up his current favorite toys, and they began to have a conversation that went like this:. Ankylosaurus: I don't think Kevin CAN use the bathroom. T-Rex: Yes, he can, Ankylosaurus. He's a big boy! Ankylosaurus: No, I don't think he can. Kevin: I don't want to. Sometimes I feel k...

http://atomicottercinema.blogspot.com/2016/12/tribute-to-my-grandpa.html
A Daily Dose of Atomic Otter Cinema. Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Tribute to My Grandpa. Yesterday, the world lost an incredible man. My grandfather, who had just turned 80 this year, passed away last night from cancer. It was very quick, and unexpected. We didn't even know he had cancer until very recently. I am so grateful that we were able to go visit him this weekend. We were able to talk to him a little bit, and to give support to my grandma. It's in Mosiah chapter 2. And secondly, he doth. When I mar...

A Daily Dose of Atomic Otter Cinema: June 2016
http://atomicottercinema.blogspot.com/2016_06_01_archive.html
A Daily Dose of Atomic Otter Cinema. Thursday, June 30, 2016. Cherries, Cherries, and More Cherries. When we moved into this house, we found out that we had several fruit trees already planted here. We moved in February of 2015, so we had no idea what we were going to get when spring arrived. This year, however, we didn't want to miss out on our cherry harvest. So, for the last week or so we've been working on cherries, cherries, and more cherries. The dogs have enjoyed eating the ones that have fallen o...
