Every night up and down the Sixth Ring Rd., on the north side of Beijing, are rows of red coal-laden lorries. Even our school at Beijing Huijia (picture) gets deliveries of coal. These smokestack blows directly into the student dormitories. Out of my dorm window black smoke billows form chimneys in the village next door. December 10, 2013.
