Wrinkly a bit i know) The sleeves are vintage lace from my grandmothers attic, I found the fabric there after she passed away. The ribbon is a sage green eyelet, very pretty. I'll iron it soon and replace the picture and delete this line :-). 50 25 = 75. And a...

UntanglingThreads: Oooo lala Frech Seams
http://untanglingthreads.blogspot.com/2011/04/oooo-lala-frech-seams.html
UntanglingThreads. of Faith, Sanity and Sewing. Friday, April 15, 2011. Oooo lala Frech Seams. French seams are really comfortable to wear and make the inside of your garment look finished. They can also help to stop fraying of the threads. Sometimes this technique is really nice is if you are wearing some sort of bell sleeve. However, to do this you will have to add am extra 1/2 inch to all the places you plan on utilizing the french seam. Your Fabric will be right sides out. Wrong sides inside. Chemise...

http://untanglingthreads.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
UntanglingThreads. of Faith, Sanity and Sewing. Monday, March 28, 2011. I know I haven't written. Life has been pleasantly busy. Mom, you get it. You always have understood me. Then I noticed the rip after it was home. But I fixed it, like you showed me, how to darn/mend on the sewing machine. Remember? This is what i would do, I would pick ...

UntanglingThreads. of Faith, Sanity and Sewing. Monday, March 14, 2011. How to: Needle Felting Doll Hair :A tutorial. To needle felt hair on to a doll you will of course need a bald cloth doll and beautiful yarn. You will need a felting needle. I just use one felting needle at a time, I feel there is more control. About this much yarn :-). I wound the yarn from my hand and around my elbow about this much, I didn't measure it. Hold the yarn taut between 2 fingers. Avoiding your fingers, stab the felting n...
