As you sew, so shall you rip: November 2011
http://sew-girl.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2011. In early November we went to Disneyland for the first time as a family. We had such a great time! Going mid week in Nov. was a great time as we were able to ride most the rides and meet most the characters. Grammy Judy came along and added to the fun! Despite the downpour of rain on the third day and no naps for Ian, I'd say the trip was a success. It truly is a magical place to little ones! Grammy enjoyed the tea cups too! That's because they were plastic. What a Beautiful ...

As you sew, so shall you rip: Ian's Industrial Letters
http://sew-girl.blogspot.com/2012/06/ians-industrial-letters.html
Saturday, June 30, 2012. This is a quick and easy project that we added to Ian's room. I wanted letters that resembled metal and had an industrial look to them. I started with some letters from Michaels and used some decorative nails from JoAnn's. The nails were added at the corners and then I sprayed them with a white primer so the spray paint would stick well. I chose a bright orange in high gloss to give the metal look. Ian's room is slowly coming along, one project at a time! What a Beautiful Day!

As you sew, so shall you rip: Lemonade Stand
http://sew-girl.blogspot.com/2012/06/lemonade-stand.html
Sunday, June 10, 2012. Breanna's good friend (and neighbor) wanted to set up a lemonade stand this weekend. We made some homemade lemonade, my neighbor made chocolate cookies and the girls made the sign. They were so cute helping our many customers! The stand was a great success and the girls are going to give the money to our VBS missionaries for audio Bibles. So silly these two! Glad they are such good friends, like their Mommies! Little bro got to help (eat cookies and drink lemonade). 1 1/4 cup sugar.

As you sew, so shall you rip: August 2011
http://sew-girl.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 18, 2011. I found this idea to make a chicken wire frame on pinterest. So last Saturday our little family set out on a search at yard sales for a nice wooden frame for a good price. Well I actually found a contender at Goodwill at the very end of our quest. I will save the before picture for the end (it makes me laugh! Here is the finished frame:. I started by removing the "art" out of the frame, then sanded primed and painted it a nice yellow. Now I use it to display sewing projects.
