Saturday, September 17, 2011. Has it really been that long? I have missed my blogging, maybe I can get back to it this fall, although there may be no readers anymore since I last posted in May! You faithful readers will come back I hope. :). We have had quite the summer, our family (the 3 of us) vacationed together for 2 months. What a blast! We started out in Georgia, drove to Michigan, then Illinois, then to Iowa, Adam and I even went to California for 10 days just the two of us, it was simply heaven!

Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Heaven is for real! I read this book in two days, (probably would have read it in one sitting if I was still single and childless) it is a MUST read. You will laugh and cry at the same time, you will have chills and goose bumps. I know I believe in heaven and one of the things I look forward to most is seeing my mom again, this book affirms my hope of reuniting under one beautiful rainbow in heaven with her. Itm=1&USRI=heaven is for real%3a a little boy%27s astounding.

Monday, July 20, 2009. We celebrated Connner's third birthday in Granite Bay, CA.and Conner was especially happy to celebrate with family. For days leading up to our drive out to California, he had been asking it was his birthday party yet.and when it finally came he enjoyed every minute of it! And the photo finish! I had tried to set up cup pyramids for the kids to squirt down, but Conner kept shooting them down before I could finish. It was his party, so we played his way. :). Happy Birthday, Bud!

Monday, September 7, 2009. Happy 1st Birthday, Grace! Yesterday we went to the Blackley's home for dinner and Conner and Grace had a great time playing with their girls! I took over a last minute ladybug cake so we could sing and celebrate. Then today, her actual birthday, Jake didn't like that we weren't giving her a cake on her real birthday, so he came home with a flower ice cream cake.ah, a Daddy's girl for sure.
