In Memory of Regina. The matriarch of our family and the inspiration for our foundation passed away this week. Regina Slivak held a pivotal role in helping this foundation become what it is today. Throughout my treatment, my grandmother tirelessly supported me, doing her own research, being a warm shoulder to cry on, and encouraging our entire family in countless ways. We will miss her devotion to the foundation and especially, to the family. Donation made in memory of Regina Slivak. Visit us on Facebook.

Sean Meehan, at 21 years old, faced the diagnosis of a rare cancer with a poor prognosis. With the diagnosis and extended hospitalization, Sean lost his job along with his health insurance. For my first blog I wanted to share a little more about myself. I went into remission in July 2012. There's no active cancer in me right now. The football has shrunk to a grapefruit.
