http://thestresswizard.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Ask The Stress Wizard. Wednesday, March 19, 2014. SPRING IS FOR RESURRECTION. Spring is the perfect time for starting new projects and taking action that brings us into greater awareness of our constant and irrefutable interdependence with Nature. As a creature whose nervous system is keyed to respond to everything from the amount of daylight to the planet’s magnetic field, we have the soaring birthing energy of Spring available to us right now as wind at our backs. Don’t inhibit yourself. Don&...Put you...

Ask The Stress Wizard: THE COMFORT OF BITTER BEANS
http://thestresswizard.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-comfort-of-bitter-beans.html
Ask The Stress Wizard. Monday, March 30, 2015. THE COMFORT OF BITTER BEANS. The history of coffee stretches back to Ethiopia, and regular use of coffer dates as far back as the 10. Century. By the 16. Century the use of coffee had spread to Turkey and the rest of the Middle east, then spread to Italy, Europe and the Americas. (Thanks Wikipedia). Of course there are now proven health benefits of dark chocolate as well, good for the heart, cholesterol, blood pressure and as we know, boosts our sex drive.

Ask The Stress Wizard: June 2014
http://thestresswizard.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Ask The Stress Wizard. Sunday, June 29, 2014. Most of our fears have nothing to do with what may harm us. We fear things because the sensations those triggers evoke are so damn unpleasant and uncomfortable and somehow familiar that we run away (literally) or disappear inside our minds. Instead we can face and recover from the false mental messages and the jail our minds creates to 'protect' us. Worked great in childhood…now- not so much. I have been avoiding people- especially avoiding meeting NEW people...

Ask The Stress Wizard: THE INVISIBILITY PROBLEM
http://thestresswizard.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-invisibility-problem.html
Ask The Stress Wizard. Wednesday, June 3, 2015. Gender bias is alive and well and wreaking havoc in our lives. Today I’m going to focus on only one aspect of the long term result of living in a society in which the beliefs and rituals of control and domination perpetuate the use of coercion and violence to settle disputes, manage human relations and affirm masculine identity. It is invisibility and unconscious acceptance of male privilege and violent ‘solutions’ that makes abuse of women at t...If people...

Ask The Stress Wizard: September 2014
http://thestresswizard.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Ask The Stress Wizard. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. ON TOLERANCE AND FREEDOM. I like to think that we live in a country based on Freedoms …but then something happens that reminds me that those who founded this country were looking for freedom for their own beliefs…NOT all beliefs. And continued on with a set of church songs in which the audience was expected to sing along…. Now…before you think I’m over-reacting, let me ask you this: What if the band-family had been some OTHER religion, Mus...No Defini...

Ask The Stress Wizard: HOW TO CULTIVATE COMMON SENSE
http://thestresswizard.blogspot.com/2014/10/how-to-cultivate-common-sense.html
Ask The Stress Wizard. Sunday, October 19, 2014. HOW TO CULTIVATE COMMON SENSE. People with common sense do effortlessly that which many others have to train and condition themselves to do with consistency…once mastered though, this short checklist will get you on the right road to your own salvation. Salvation from your own self-sabotage, of course. Enjoy. And as a bonus, you will get more stuff done, and enjoy doing stuff more as a result. Yay you. Get your ass outside. Studies clearly show (again, lik...

Ask The Stress Wizard: February 2015
http://thestresswizard.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Ask The Stress Wizard. Monday, February 2, 2015. LET GO, LISTEN and LIGHTEN UP. People have love affairs with their familiar stories, using denial as a shield against reality, sanity and what is usually obvious to others at a glance. In the quest to be ‘right’ about what we’re doing that isn’t making us happy, we tend to throw people who challenge us under the bus. There is a memo here for you to consider. I am suggesting that such a self-assessment can bring you into deeper awareness of. There’s n...

Ask The Stress Wizard: TITTERING, TOOTING & TRANSFORMING
http://thestresswizard.blogspot.com/2015/05/tittering-tooting-transforming.html
Ask The Stress Wizard. Monday, May 4, 2015. TITTERING, TOOTING and TRANSFORMING. Well it has been a fascinating month or so…and I am in that strange ‘between’ place in which the new things I am working on have not fully taken shape, while most of the clients I still had in the aftermath of the accident have completed their coaching. Anyway, though I generally don’t. 8220;Toot my own horn” as it were, (sorry) I’m going to share a little of my inner process with you because the new direction I'...Multiple ...

Ask The Stress Wizard: August 2014
http://thestresswizard.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Ask The Stress Wizard. Sunday, August 31, 2014. STOP THE GLORIFICATION OF "BUSY"! I started four blog posts last month- all left behind mid-sentence like half eaten meals that have gone cold and are now unappetizing. I will spare you those. What keeps coming to my attention is how the terrible cost of the glorification of ‘busy’ distracts us from health, happiness. And love. I hear it every day…people too busy doing nothing that matters who have no time for what does. Fall is here. I love fall. A...Happi...
