This week's art project was a landscape painting, and the results were amazing! We used bright acrylics over black gesso, painted on wood panels. The kids turned out some fabulous works of art they can all be proud of. I had enjoyed trying this technique in a couple of workshops I took with awesome Canadian artist, Mike Svob. Links - I Like.

This past week Leading Edge Workshops. And since I manage the workshops here, I also get to take the workshop! Just a bit of fun - I get a kick out of the BOOOOOM. Website - where people try through photography to remake a classic (famous) piece of art. I laughed pretty hard at the Ingres 'copy'.

I wish I had managed to photograph everything as it was all gorgeous! Links to this post. We tried an 'integrative' collage theme at the Lunch and Learn class this week.
