We also wanted to make the time commitment stretchy, so we came up with a range of 4 to 10 hours. Then Dan said something that really hit home with me about not wanting to exceed the 10 hours a week. Friday, January 18, 2013. There is an experiment going on in my household around setting goals. Not your everyday, run of the mill goals, but ones called stretchy goals. A stretchy goal is very similar to a traditional goal, except you stretch it so there is a range of success. By stretching the goal, and its success range, you acknowledge some of life's uncertainty from the beginning, instead of only looking through optimistic glasses. This experiment turned out to be really fun!
