Our Newlywed Life: Just for the record
http://livinginsfca.blogspot.com/2011/04/just-for-record.html
Thursday, April 21, 2011. Just for the record. I realize that the vast majority of folks who check out my blog are probably people who attended my shower/bachelorette party. :) But for the random, bored stranger (and for my own documentation), here are a few pictures from my weekend in Birmingham. Saturday was my wedding shower! We drank champagne and opened gifts in the room, moved the party to the hotel bar and a good time was had by all. I can't tell you how many times I laughed until it hurt. The Top...

Our Newlywed Life: San Diego
http://livinginsfca.blogspot.com/2011/09/san-diego.html
Thursday, September 8, 2011. Continuing our trip backwards in time, Mike and I recently went to San Diego to celebrate his birthday! My mom's cousin, Valerie, and her husband, Ken, live in a gorgeous home outside of SD and generously allowed us to stay there and use one of their cars. I found our plane tix on Virgin America for $44/per person each way. I feel like I was able to give him a birthday weekend that I hope he loved and it was on a budget! Monday morning we took Ken's truck and the bikes back t...

Our Newlywed Life: September 2010
http://livinginsfca.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 27, 2010. Just what I needed. This weekend was all about wedding prep and quality time, and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. I feel like the last several weeks Mike and I have been going and doing (Birmingham/Wyoming, camping, parents in town) which has been fun, but sort of exhausting. Over the last two days, we had a great time hanging out and didn't really talk to many people besides each other, which was nice. Friday after work, the weather was nice (for once! This weekend was exact...

Our Newlywed Life: Struggling
http://livinginsfca.blogspot.com/2011/06/struggling.html
Wednesday, June 1, 2011. So what do I do, friends? How does one cope with the desire to quit one's job on the spot and spend all day with one's husband and puppy dog? Dont fret. This happens to all newly married couples. Its you coming down from the high that was your wedding and honeymoon. Same thing happened to me. It was all go go go and wonderfulness and friends and family and love and then a vacation! Probably the best vacation you will ever have! June 3, 2011 at 7:56 PM. Cant wait for the pictures!

Our Newlywed Life: December 2010
http://livinginsfca.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 30, 2010. Merry Christmas to all! So, on the day before New Year's Eve I'm finally getting up my Christmas post. Oops! Christmas morning was SO MUCH FUN. Mike's mom made us French toast and we all opened stockings. Some of us opted to wear our stocking and our brother's stocking like slippers. Not naming names. And don't I look especially excited(/special needs) that I got my snowboarding helmet! We take off tonight for another New Year's Eve in Utah where I'll be putting my snowboardi...

Our Newlywed Life: February 2011
http://livinginsfca.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 22, 2011. I plan to address January and February, which I've basically ignored with the exceptions of the few tiny posts I've put up since the new year began. This has been one of the most hectic times of my life and I find myself struggling! As far as the rest of January, Mike and I are in training mode, running around 10-15 miles per week. That's soon to be ratcheted up (yikes) but so far I'm really proud of myself, since I used to be able to run no further than 2 miles as recentl...
