Monday, 9 May 2011. Set off from St Bees (now renamed St Breeze) and walked 8 miles around the headland. Sadly no puffins sighted but we did see lots of guillemots. Weather beautiful at the outset but we had an hour's downpour at the end and arrived at our B&B soaking wet! Wonderful accommodation at Abbey Farm House - hope the rest live up to this standard. Pics show us dipping our feet at the start and with Andrew, our sherpa on day 1 - many thanks Andrew. Now off to the pub. 9 May 2011 at 14:41.

Saturday, 14 May 2011. Friday 13th May 2011 - ADDENDUM. In our haste to complete our blog last night we omitted 3 important things:. 2 Thanks, also, to our B&B hosts at Chestnut Villa who looked after us so well and made valiant efforts to help us with our sodden kit! 3 Our total distance was just under 8 miles but ascent was a challenging 3257 feet in driving rain. Monday, 23 May 2011. Monday 23rd May 2011. Distance covered on the day was a tiring but enjoyable 19 miles and the total ascent was 3530 feet. On Tuesday we set off for home where we will publish our last blog. Pics show the town of Robin Hood's Bay and the majestic cliffs as we rounded the headlands on the final approach and the team throwing their stones into the North Sea prior to starting their celebrations! 23 May 2011 at 12:38. Saturday, 14 May 2011. Saturday 14th May 2011. After a comfortable night at the Mortal Man we were dismayed at the sight of heavy rain as we ate breakfast. But, by the time we set off from Patterdale the rain had ceased and we began the long haul (5miles and 2529 feet! To the summit of Kidsty Pike (easy peasy - not!
