Wouter's World: Paso Robles
http://wouterworld.blogspot.com/2014/07/paso-robles.html
Saturday, July 12, 2014. A bed and breakfast. On a hilltop overlooking a winery, sampling a lot of impressive wines. And some of my favorite twisty roads. What could possibly go wrong. Most of these are from my trips, many are shot with a fisheye lens and then converted to wide angle rectalinear, cylindrical or stereographic using my own software.

Wouter's World: December 2012
http://wouterworld.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 24, 2012. We had time for a trip to Chile, where we visited Santiago, Valparaiso / Vina del Mar, Colchagua Valley (wineries) and Patagonia (Torres del Paine national park). As a tourist, Chile feels very safe, well organized, and much like a first world country in every way, with as disadvantage that everything was surprisingly. expensive. Another shocker was the people. not much latino spirit going on here, but much more. "reserved". Almost like northern europe. San Francisco, Round 2.

Monday, January 9, 2012. To the guy chanting into his megaphone for 20 minutes at 6AM, close to our hotel window: a bit less repetitive would make you more entertaining. Oh, and hurray for absinthe leaf tea on random street corners. we needed it. Posted by Wouter van Oortmerssen. Sunday, January 8, 2012. Posted by Wouter van Oortmerssen. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wouter's World: March 2011
http://wouterworld.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 20, 2011. San Francisco and Napa. This is the 8th consecutive year I have done this trip, around this time, and it never gets boring. The conference (GDC) was fantastic as always, as was the wine in Napa. I am ready to do it again next year :). Enjoy some random shots (note the decidely non-fisheye nature of most of them, I bought a new lens that I wanted to play around with):. Posted by Wouter van Oortmerssen. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wouter's World: November 2013
http://wouterworld.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 10, 2013. For when fisheye is just too mundane. I recently bought a Ricoh Theta. A specialistic camera that has TWO fisheye lenses on two sides of the device, and produces 360 degree pictures in one shot. The pictures that come out look quite crazy, for when normal fisheye isn't quite crazy enough. I've made pictures like the one below by stitching together multiple fisheye shots in the past, but it's a lot of work, this device does it all in one shot. Here's a few more:. Most of these a...

Friday, February 29, 2008. Since the bcm43xx drivers are being replaced by the b43 drivers that still blow ( : , I ordered a pcmcia card for my laptop. A D-Link dwl-g630 is coming my way. I've read quite a few success stories with it. Plus it was under 20 bucks, so I couldn't pass it up. Hopefully it'll come in today, if not Monday. I really want to toy around with it.
