A VERY brief update. 1 Kara fell down a flight of stairs in mid-december and dislocated 2 fingers which were reset but scarring inside her fingers occurred so she will never get full mobility of them back. Can’t drive right now so mama is driving me AND Kara where we need to go. whew poor mama. Sangamon County Relay For Life. Our goal is 400 people! Here we go again.

Reflections of The Heart. Archive for February 2009. On: February 12, 2009. I’m home. I’m in a lot of pain which I wasn’t expecting since I had virtually no pain the first time. HOWEVER, while I didn’t talk to Dr. Allan, he did talk to mom and she is very relieved after what she said he said. She said the first thing he said was “It was all fluid”! We go back to see the doc on the 25th of February for the official biopsy results but again, he said he was confident that there was no sign of the cancer!

Reflections of The Heart. Ok I know I’ve been remiss but things. On: February 10, 2009. That’s about the update right now. Working on my thesis proposal (met with my advisor who liked my topic so now I just need a formal proposal for the department). Otherwise that’s about it. I’m pretty ready to be pain free and start PT back up again. I’m back to not being able to move my knee much at all and I’d really like that to be fixed. Hope all is well with everyone! When the Struggle is Real. March 14, 2016. When I learned they hadn’t had a working hot water heater for nearly a year, I thought, oh my! I already knew that a heating system for warmth wasn’t something they had either for years prior. Weren’t they cold during the winter months? I also knew that during the summer time when overwhelming temperatures rose into the mid 100’s that they were struggling through that as well, without any cooling device.
