The Nielsons: February 2010
http://thenielsons.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
February 17, 2010. My greasy baby and other notable events. Last night after tub time I guess we lost track of number four for a few too many minutes. She likes lotion, I mean, she likes TO EAT lotion. I still haven't checked the jar to see if it isn't good to eat. Ainslers was ok,. So I am guessing it's fine to have a few tablespoons each day. My real problem is that cetaphil. I might as well let her eat spoonfuls of caviar daily, but I guess that would make her smell fishy. There are only 3 loads of di...

The Nielsons: July 2010
http://thenielsons.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
July 1, 2010. I can't wait until I'm 8. Today is the day! Happy Birthday to my Amelia Elizabeth who, so far, is spending her special day making zhu zhu. Pet magazines for the zhu zhu. Pets to read when they go potty. *. Amelia is the most thoughtful and unselfish girl ever! I am so lucky to have her be the example for her younger brother and sisters- she's practically perfect! I ♥ you Amelia! For the record, I am NOT the one who taught her that you should read magazines on the pot. I cant wait until Im 8.

Greg Loves Caitlin: The Zoo
http://greglovescaitlin.blogspot.com/2010/10/zoo.html
We went to the zoo on Saturday and it was a zoo! Intentional pun courtesy of Greg.). The beautiful sunshine must have put the same idea in everyone else’s head, so it was pretty crowded! Growing up, my family had a tradition of skipping school on Halloween and going to the zoo, so we always had it pretty much to ourselves. I was surprised to see that little Zuri the elephant, who hit the thousand pound mark last week, is still an adorable baby! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). You Raise Me Up.

Greg Loves Caitlin: Guest Post by Greg: "Pun Intended"
http://greglovescaitlin.blogspot.com/2011/05/guest-post-by-greg-pun-intended.html
Guest Post by Greg: "Pun Intended". Caitlin and I were driving to Salt Lake City on I-15 a few weeks ago. Just before we got to our exit, I noticed a Nissan Frontier pickup truck that looked like it had been rear-ended. The whole tailgate and back side of the truck were dented in. I turned to Caitlin and said, “It looks like someone decided to press forward against the wild frontier. 8221; as I pointed to the Nissan Frontier. There’s lots of fresh air and an occasional wild mustang. It’s a fusion. Caitli...

The Nielsons: Veggie burger anyone?
http://thenielsons.blogspot.com/2010/04/veggie-buger-anyone_22.html
April 22, 2010. Since the beginning of Sydnie. I remember her being a picky eater. She has always loved every single vegetable I've ever put in front of her. Yes, even brussel. Sprouts. The pickiness. Comes in the meat department. Even when she was tiny she wanted to look at the packaged meat in the grocery store. My Dad calls her 'DOC' because she is very interested in muscles, blood, and watching him gut dead animals. Her interest in blood, muscles, and guts stops at just looking. Sydnie. 2 Pork is a v...

The Nielsons: April 2009
http://thenielsons.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
April 1, 2009. Looks like an ordinary cup of juice. Actually it is a cup of orange and lemon jello with blue and red food coloring. In it The kids were surprised when they went to drink their grape juice this morning, and Ainsley was thrilled that they left their cups of jello on the table and mom was too busy dressing, combing, and gathering homework to notice that she had gotten the jello and was squishing it through her fingers. Mad at me for taking the jello away! Hope you all had a good one! Here's ...

Greg Loves Caitlin: Halloween Decorating
http://greglovescaitlin.blogspot.com/2010/10/halloween-decorating.html
So there’s this Far Side comic. Pretty sure we were on the other side of that joke when we walked out our front door the other night. We came face to face with an enormous web. And I really did not want to come face to face with whatever made it. I guess the spiders must have realized I’ve been a little slow at getting the Halloween decorations up so they decided to take matters into their own hands! I kid you not, it was all the way from the top of the right pillar to the front flowerpot! You Raise Me Up.

Greg Loves Caitlin: Summer Saturdays
http://greglovescaitlin.blogspot.com/2011/05/summer-saturdays.html
We restarted our Summer Saturday Breakfast Tradition this weekend! We love stopping by Great Harvest on a Saturday morning to grab a couple of slices of fresh bread—which always come with a couple of free ones. And nothing goes better with that delicious bread than fruity smoothies, so of course we grab a couple of those too! I’m really hoping summer weather starts to make its appearance for more than a few minutes here and there because we’ve been thinking of ideas for our 5. Oh the Feats of Cleats!
