BRONX, NY - The New York City Health Department continues its investigation of an outbreak of Legionnaires' disease in the South Bronx, where 81 cases were reported from July 10 to Aug. 3 with 7 deaths. The number hospitalized had risen to 64, with a total of 28 of those having been discharged. Those with symptoms should call their doctor and ask about testing for Legionnaire’s disease.
