Thursday, 15 February 2007. SNOW DAY last Thursday was a wonderful thing. Getting to work was interesting although Charlie car did a good job of getting me there in one piece. Passed quite a few Lexuses and BMWs wheel-spinning gently into the ice. Only to find out that most of the other teachers hadn't bothered, so we were sending the kids home. Thursday, 8 February 2007. As usual, momentum failed somewhat between the postings. suppose that means life's been either fairly uneventful with not much to talk about or so busy I can't spare five minutes to type anything. Probably a mixture of the two to be honest. Sooo Gordon Brown for prime minister? That's him on the right for you khawageen) What do I think? Having now lived in places without a health service or a functioning education system, actually ours works well most of the time for most people.

Just when the Democrats have a good chance of not only actually getting back power, but also of having the first woman/black President, they self-destruct by the woman making racist allegations about the black candidate's past, and discrediting both candidates in one go? Sunday, 1 July 2007. Finally, some blue sky, after a week of solid rain. Good thing too, as I'm taking 112 children away for a week tomorrow morning.
