Good 'till the last drop... - Condescending Order

Good 'till the last drop. I like my coffee like my sex. I PAY. Stupid marketing tactics. You freeloading opportunists should all be ashamed of yourself; voting is an incentive in itself. Jungle of Mirror" - The Scumfrog. 4th-Nov-2008 08:37 pm (UTC). You freeloading opportunists should all be ashamed of yourself; voting is an incentive in itself.". 4th-Nov-2008 08:47 pm (UTC). Artistico-socio-political ramblings, disorientations, confusions, and ducks. And Friday Poetry. We have that too. Monday, June 27, 2005. Maybe We're the Problem. Spoilers are Shakespeare plays- several of them, particularly The Merchant of Venice. And The Taming of the Shrew. The other night Lucas and I were talking about racism and sexism in literature, our ability to really like certain works in spite of their clear racism (Hemingway, in his case) or misogynism ( One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. He's a...

Twenty-two bonus blog points if you can tell me the source of the title. EDIT: Please read the comments after this. I won't violate the post, but Connor shot me down in fashions I consider extremely productive. END OF EDIT. So then, why am I contemptuous of suburban living in the suburbs of major cities? I'm well aware it's been almost a month since I posted- you don't have to *tell* me. I still have a comment of Lawrence's I need to respond to, even. It has been some kinda month, but I'll try to get a couple more in for April so I'm still on Connor's "post frequently" list. If not, oh well. A Nation of Laws. I know this is ver...

Wow, I'm actually addressing something concrete that's happening right now. For some reason I feel like that never happens. So how does this connect to torture? Posted by G @ 9:46 AM. Tuesday, March 22, 2005. Will it pass with the passage of Bush? Perhaps. It can't be undone; most of the damage done by the Red Scare could. When yo...Symbo...

Row, row, row your vote - Condescending Order
http://constituent.livejournal.com/276973.html
Row, row, row your vote. Why didn't anybody mention that today was Election Day? Honest to God, people should have been informed about this sooner because absolutely nobody has made a single mention of this in the past month. Why aren't people changing their status message to " ZOMG! Or blogging furiously about it. It's best to return under that rock; who in their right mind knew that today was 04-NOV? 4th-Nov-2008 12:59 pm (UTC). 4th-Nov-2008 03:25 pm (UTC). But get thankful when it's all done and over.

Artistico-socio-political ramblings, disorientations, confusions, and ducks. And Friday Poetry. We have that too. Wednesday, July 20, 2005. I Will Bear Witness (Grrr). Can witnessing be active, then, or are you simply weighted down by it? How and why did this become a social value? It is, of course, true that we present a front of valuing honesty more than we actually do, perhaps more than we actually can (in Jon Stewart's America (The Book). And Michael Rohd's Theatre for Community, Conflict and Dialogue.

Somehow I feel like I must be wrong about it being Clarence Thomas, but why on earth would I think it was he if it wasn't? I think this might have been where I was going when I wrote the first two paragraphs two weeks ago. That is the very essence of the right's economic stance, isn't it? Bullshit for exactly that reason...
