Along for the Ride. Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Patrick's 2nd Birthday (part two). Today was Patrick's actual birthday. For a 2 year old, it's pretty much a typical day. It's amazing what dogs can do without opposable thumbs. :) We were a little late getting it in the mail today but at least the letter was written and the pictures printed prior to Christmas. Hooray! I had wanted to throw a party for Matt but he was against celebrating him turning 30. Not so much he doesn't want to turn 30. but rather he thinks it's not that big of a deal and definitely doesn't want to draw attention to himself. (oh, how differently we feel about birthdays! But the other reason why it was a mess is because. Happy 30th Birthday Matt!

Along for the Ride. Saturday, July 4, 2015. We had a nice 4th of July at home. We started the day out at the local parade. Joe saved us seats while we grabbed breakfast from Starbucks. They put together a nice parade. The boys loved all the trucks and cars. After the parade we met some friends for lunch and then I took the little boys home for naps while Josh hung out some more with his friends at a park. After naps, the two little ones helped me make these 4th of July dishes for our dinner.

You ate 5 or 6 bites and made some pretty hilarious faces. And then you coughed/gagged and puked. Oops. We put the green beans away and gave you a bath.
