You might recognize these from "Mummy III" :) It's the terracotta warriors from the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. He was thirteen when he got on the throne and started building his tomb with all the clay men. He specifically said that no two soldiers were to be made alike. This is also the guy that had the Great Wall made. You wouldn't think it, but they're actually really friendly!

View my complete profile. Monday, August 31, 2009. Wat Luang Ta Bua Yanna Sampanno, but "Tiger Temple" is easier to say :) We went here during our 3 day weekend in Kanchanaburi for our anniversery. It's a Buddhist monastary that started taking in tiger cubs in the late 90's after their mothers were killed by poachers. The monks hang out with the tigers and raise them from just babies, so they're used to being around humans. That combined with being nocturnal animals makes for a Kodak moment. We took this...

Don’t we all love MetaLink. Oracle’s replacement for Siebel SupportWeb? Judging from everyone I’ve spoken to, the answer’s a resounding ‘No’! Systems who can’t cope with the “simple” differences between Siebel 6 and 7… A salutary lesson, perhaps :). Forgetting the comparison of the merits of the two systems, I do think it’s a shame that we now have another example of Oracle moving Siebel away from the traditional policy of eating it’s own dogfood.
