Writer and Astronomy Outreach Educator. Since 1988 I have been running what is effectively a one-man Astronomy Outreach and Education project here in Cumbria, giving illustrated lectures about astronomy and spaceflight to community groups (Lions, Round Tables, Soroptomists, W.I.s, U3As, engineering and science groups, etc) and other groups. At times when an astronomy- or spaceflight-related story is in the news, i.e. an important space mission, an eclipse or meteor shower, etc. I am also frequently interviewed live on the air by reporters and news editors from The Bay Radio.
