Monday, January 4, 2010. Becoming part of the "Parent Club". Now that the holidays have wrapped up and the Christmas lights are down, Rod and I can focus on the next big adventure, having a baby! Yesterday we went to Babies R Us, and just looked .and looked, and looked! We have been to Babies R Us about a million times in the past, but normally on the hunt for some hidden registry item that probably hasn't been on the shelves in 2 months! Final thoughts: How can something so small need soooo much stuff?

Monday, December 28, 2009. This all began simply because I wanted to leave a comment on Brooke's blog. One click led to another, and now instead of folding the laundry, I am writing my first post. Christmas was lovely this year. The best part of the holidays for us was what was missing! THIS is why we moved home, and none of it is lost on us. I can't tell you how many times we've remarked on the convenience of it all. For now there is a load of laundry desperately in need of some folding. :).

Their previous owner, Rob, dropped them off and no sooner had he left dust trails out the gate, than Nala our 2 yr old lab/bouvier started screeching “intruder alert” as she perched possessively on the front step of our home. What kind of ditch was this? Curious and assured that Squidgy was alive the boys and I joined in the rescue mission. Loved and loving companion.

We are so happy with the work that was done and the manner in which the team carried out the job. The partnership between the team, the maintenance department and the Maranatha Malawian staff was excellent. All for the Glory of GOD!
